I'm happy with Your plan God...

Hallo all.

Yesterday, my CSS-GIFT having our 22nd AGM.Aim for this is to dissolve the previous exco and elect the new 1...I’m the part of the previous exco and also nominate myself for the new exco. Before this, I serve as Coordinator for GIFT Liturgical Department (GLD). Although, it was a very tough job for me, it was really a wonderful experience. Every week, I and my beloved Vice Coordinator Rina yg cute need to prepare for mass. Find the server, prepare the slide and make sure masses is running smoothly became routine of my life since I hold that post for the past 1 year. At first, I enjoy my job but it not last long. It started became a burden for me. I cannot concentrate during masses. I always worried about how the mass wil run. Is it run smoothly? Are the servers serve well without any mistake? Are they any problem during mass, and so many other things to worries about . .I really need to work hard before every masses .Sometime I feel I’m not serve with all my heart anymore, but only to fulfill my duty. And until one part I blame this job for my bad performance in academic. I said to myself, I will retire after this, GIFT really cause curse in my life. It really a breakdown in my life. How bad am I right?huhu. But, thanks God, I manage to fulfill my duties until the day I retired.

On 6-7 March 2010, 2 weeks before retirement, I was lucky to join a retreat for exco organized by GIFT Faith Development Department, Lorna & Bunga. And once again, thanks God the theme is really relate to me and my duty in GIFT. The prodigal son.(Luke15:11-32). This retreat really opens my heart, my eyes. In serve God we must offer ourselves to God with love, not only because of our duty, our responsibility. Then, God called me to serve again in GIFT by open my heart to nominate myself forVice President 2 and treasurer position for the AGM.

The time come, AGM was successful and the result is:

President : Milton Wider

VP1: Steffi Mit

Carolyn Jemmy(vc)

GMM: Constantine(c)

Patrissa(vc)

Mission: Clarissa Blasius(c)

Bathromiaz James(vc)

Public Relation & MJCC Representatives: Aurel Lotius Bagu

T& T: Rachel Aswin

Publicity : Hazelyna Makerly

Eh, where is my name? Is it missing? hahahhaha..nope..sa kalah undi bha gia..at first ,yah, I feel a little bit sad.

This is my conversation with God right after the AGM:

Dut dut: “God, why when I feel still want to serve You, You don’t want to give me a chance”. I want to prove this time I will offer everything to You with love. But why don’t You give me any chance??”

God: My dearest Dut dut. What are you so worried of? Who said you cannot serve Me anymore? I love you Dut and I want to give you a little time for yourself, to concentrate more on your study and your uni life. I know you are 1 of (Persatuan Mahasiswa Sarawak (MASSA) Committee and you have your commitment there. Then, Punggek Film Festival is still going on. I don’t want you to lose on your way Dut dut. It’s not about how much power you achieve, but it is about how much you love me. Just do with all your heart the best you can. Serving Me is not about pushing yourself over the limit, but it is about getting yourself happiness in your days. I love you Dut dut.

Dut dut: God is good, all the time. I’m happy with Your plan God & I know You made everthing for a reason. Thanks God..:-)

Untaian kata; Derita Batang Balui

Derita Batang Balui

sebelas tahun sudah
di Kampung Asap kini
cerita silam itu berlalu
kian terbenam perlahan bersama sang waktu yang terus
bergulir

sebelas tahun sudah
rumah tradisional kebanggaan warisan pendahulu itu
hutan, tanah dan air yang mereka miliki
kini…berubah wajah diluar kemauan pemiliknya

sebelas tahun sudah
Orang... Asal Batang Balui
pasrah dengan kepolosannya
tak berdaya melawan kepicikan penguasa

sebelas tahun sudah
generasi baru mereka kini
tidak lagi bisa menikmati suasana seperti masa lalu
tempat para generasi pendahulu mengadu nasib ditanah leluhur

sebelas tahun sudah
atas nama pembangunan
Orang Asal di paksa meninggalkan tempat lahir
dan kini… menjadi pendatang dinegeri sendiri

Batang Balui…
Hutan, tanah, sungai dan budaya mu kini
tak lagi seperti dulu
hak wargamu dikebiri tanpa permisi
janji penguasa menjadi mimpi belaka

nasibmu kini...
nasib generasimu kini...
pasrah menanti sentuhan kasih dan keadilan

derita Batang Balui…
derita kita semua……
derita generasi mendatang...
harus ada yang peduli!!!

penganiyaan kanak-kanak-Ini sudah lebih..adakah bapa begini..

Anak dinikah bapa dalam kereta
Oleh Siti Nor Hidayah Razali

2010/03/11
PASIR MAS: "Baba kahwinkan saya.

Happy Belated International Women's Day

hello everyone...

Happy Belated International Women's Day..8 March 2010. Only today got chance to blog..hurm..
I didn't know actually that there was a day to celebrate women all over the world. But, memang patut pun ada 1 day to recognize women kan..When 1 of my friend wish me "Happy Women's Day" I still blur... n said "oh,Women's day kah hari ni?Ada pula..Tp sa bukan women lah,sa gadis sunti lagi..hehehhe"..Then I went back to my room n start using my uncle GOOGLE n search bout Women's day..so here what I got..Untuk pengetahuan kita bersama..:-)

  • International Women's Day (IWD) is marked on the 8th of March every year. It is a major day of global celebration of women. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements.
  • The first IWD was observed on 28 February 1909 in the United States.
  • The day is an official holiday in Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Burkina Faso,Cambodia,China (for women only),Croatia, Cuba,Georgia, Guinea-Bissau, Eritrea,Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan, Laos,Madagascar (for women only),Moldova,Mongolia, Montenegro, Nepal (for women only), Russia,Serbia,Tajikistan,Turkmenistan, Uganda,Ukraine,Uzbekistan,Vietnam, and Zambia.
  • On this day it is customary for men to give the women in their lives - mothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters, colleagues, etc - flowers and small gifts. In some countries (such as Romania) it is also observed as an equivalent of Mother's Day, where children also give small presents to their mothers and grandmothers.
  • In Italy, to celebrate the day, men give yellow mimosas to women.Yellow mimosas and chocolate are also one of the most common March 8 presents in Russia and Albania.
  • In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Estonia, Lithuania, Moldova,Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Serbia the custom of giving women flowers still prevails. Women sometimes get gifts from their employers too. Schoolchildren often bring gifts for their teachers as well.
  • In countries like Portugal it is usual, at the night of 8 March, for groups of women celebrate in "women-only" dinners and parties.
  • In India, IWD holds a lot of significance. Many celebrations are held during the day.
  • In Pakistan working women in formal and informal sectors celebrate International Women's Day every year to commemorate their ongoing struggle for due rights, despite facing many cultural and religious restrictions. Some women working for change in society use IWM to help the movement for women's rights. In Poland, for instance, every International Women's Day includes large feminist demonstrations in major cities.
This year the theme for IWD is "Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities: Progress for All”.
Hurm..its means,we are working towards zero gender discrimination,right..Men and women are same in ability, talent and etc..What men can do, women also can do.yeah..Go women Go!hahaha.

So, before i stop, I would like to dedicated this post to these women that is really2 important in my life..my inspiration..happy Women's day mum,grandma,auntie2 n my sis(just get married, women sudah.hihi)I love u all..
